Fantastic hotel right in the center of Solvang, which has great rates, a big swimming, and continental breakfast. The management staff are very nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and they also have coupons for various restaurants and shops. Solvang is beautiful and this is one of the best hotels in the area and won't cost you too much either. We will definitely come back here.

The location is perfect! Right in the middle of town. The lobby staff is very welcoming and I love the fact that they had coffee 24/7 in the lobby. The rooms were clean and cute! Bed was very comfy and they have a noise machine and ear plugs if needed.

The window by the sink needs a curtain or blinds. A lot of light came into the sleeping area which made it hard to sleep once the sun was out.

I just spoke to Karen on the phone to book a room and she was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. For that alone, I feel this establishment deserves a high rating. They seem to care who they hire to represent them and I hope they can forward this message to Karen so she can get the praise she deserves. I'm looking forward to my stay!

Great price for being in the middle of it all. My wife booked the room Here. It was small and basic. But it was clean, and had the necessities you need. Would definitely recommend staying here if your not looking to spend a lot money. I will definitely be booking here again.

This hotel is centrally located in the town. It is walkable to and from the quaint shops, bakeries, restaurants, and museums. There is free parking and free coffee and juice 24 hrs. There is also free tasty pastries and to-go foods for breakfast. When we arrived, we were able to check-in 1 hr early and requested a 2nd floor room and the friendly receptionist accommodated us. She also gave us town passport w/ discounts on establishments and the town map which was nice! The room we had is a traditional 2 bed, w/air-con and heat, hot shower and clean toilet and room. There is tv, small ref and microwave.The pool and jacuzzi are heated, though we did not use it. Over all, our family had a fun and restful vacation. We hope to be back!

We stayed at the King Frederick Inn on a Saturday and Sunday night and overall it was fine for a basic room. Convenience gets a 5 and it was very clean. Right in the center of town. However a few things I had issues with. They need to put grab bars in the shower. Very slippery floor and nothing to hold onto. Also, the shower gel dispenser was silly. Needed to press it, literally, 30 times to get enough soap on the wash cloth. The room we stayed in didn't have a window to look out. Only a small high up window. I was able to hold my camera up and take a photo. Noise was an issue as well. Parking was tight when we arrived. Lots of large trucks and SUV's in rather small spaces. For the prices charged I would give 3.5 stars overall. Not a bad place, just can use a few upgrades.

Excellent location right in the middle of downtown Solvang. The room is fairly small but has everything. The TV quality is mediocre and not many channels. I recommend extending the complimentary breakfast to 10:30 am or 11:00 am. Considering everything, I rate it a 4.5 out of 5.0.
